Lynn frustrated at Open

After shooting a brilliant 68 at Panmure on Monday two rounds of 75 left Lynn Brooky a frustrated figure at Carnoustie.

Lynn (pictured with joint F/Q winner Kym Larratt) said "All in all I should not be too unhappy as I lost virtually my whole score on two holes out there and i did play a lot of solid golf."

Brooky now moons onto Killen Castle in Ireland next week and hopes to capitalise on her improving form.

MONTY PUTS PROBLEMS BEHIND HIM.

Well I honestly thought we would lose but it was not the"walkover" that everyone else predicted!! It came down to two men and the last three holes so it was VERY close.

I am very happy for Colin Montgomerie and glad that he can now put the problems of this year behind him and enjoy success again. After the performance of Nick Faldo last time around, Colin really proved himself to be a great captain. Well done Colin.

Pro Golfing Tours today reached Pine Cliffs in Portugal as the Winter 2010 Golf trip starts this Saturday. LET touring Professional Lynnette Brooky said "It is great to see the weather is so good, long may it remain." Lynn added " it is always nice to come back, it has been a long hard season and now I am looking forward to the next six weeks."

HARRINGTON LOOKING GOOD!

HARRINGTON WARMS UP WELL.

I must say I was a little surprised when people questioned Padraig Harrington being picked for the Ryder Cup team. Big players always rise to the occasion and Padraig finished todays Vivendi Cup in Paris with a stunning 64. I have to say if Padraig was paired in singles with Tiger then my money would be on the mercurial Irishman to win. Less than a week now.
